    AXESS Communication Benelux BV founded in Sassenheim, Belgium for sales and logistics. AXESS Vertriebsgesellschaft founded in Daventry Northants, England, for accessories, telecommunications and mobile communications.

    1987

    Additional companies founded for sales and logistics: AXESS Communication Spain, S.A. in Madrid, Spain, AXESS Denmark in Farum, Denmark, and AXESS Lisboa in Lisbon, Portugal.

    Alexander Batteries GmbH founded in Meerbusch, Germany, for sales and logistics.

    AXESS Mondial Link Telecommunications GmbH founded in Willich, Germany, for sales, production and logistics for mobile phones. Large-scale products for Deutsche Telekom (D1), Mannesmann (D2), Vodafone and E-Plus. AXESS Communications Spez.o.o. founded in Warsaw, Poland. Sales and logistics for accessories, Benefon. Market opening for mobile phones in Poland.

  • 1998

    Successful sale of all companies worldwide (except for Alexander Batteries) to Brightpoint, an international listed US company with a focus on wireless communications. Alexander Batteries becomes Axcom Battery Technologies.

    2014

    In the new company headquarters in Willich, Germany, Axcom concentrates its development, production, quality control and logistics within a single, state-of-the-art site.
